When they finished their farewell tour in 2004, fans of Phish’s light rock/reggae/jazz sound were devastated – that is until the group announced last year that they would reassemble for a reunion tour. Guitarist and vocalist Trey Anastasio, bassist Mike Gordon, keyboardist Page McConnell and drummer Jon Fishman spawned a new wave of improvisational “jam” performances when they first joined together in 1983, and now, almost fifteen years later, fans are still flocking to the group’s energetic performances and eclectic sound. From December 2nd through the 4th, the band makes their re-appearance in New York City at none other than Madison Square Garden. Tickets range from $100 to $125 at StubHub.com, and though it may seem a little pricey, is it really possible to put a price on seeing this iconic group in possibly their last performance together? Exactly.
