The Highline opens in the Meat Packing District offering up haute Thai cuisine, and stunning retro-cruise chic décor.
Once over a mile of elevated passageway for freight trains in the 1930’s, The Highline now stands as both a park and, in the Meat Packing District, a three level entertainment space of the same name. This journey all takes place in a vintage cruise ship-style atmosphere, complete with a drained swimming pool, a.k.a. the cocktail lounge!
In addition to the pool, the space has a bar and upscale Thai food restaurant at do-able prices.
With options like lotus root chips, Thai black tuna, and coconut soup, there is something for everyone, and plenty of new things to try.
Not that hungry? Lay back and have drinks delivered to you on one of the lounge’s large beds via portable drink trays, all while you listen to the soft sound of the space’s three story waterfall.
